So, I guess this is my day to start blogging again.

Why I am not a dog person...
1. Dogs slobber...
2. They can out smart you, some days...
3. You have to walk them, no matter how cold it is (GgggRrrrr)
4. They are not cats...
5. They chew on everything, including your new shoes...
6. They run away on you, when you are not looking. (This is not just Sam)
7. They bark really LOUD.

SO, can someone explain to me why I feel so compelled to watch these critters?

Nope. I don't know. I'm about ready to give mine up for adoption. Just joking. I wouldn't dream of it, but I agree with all your reasons to be a cat person.

I'm not sure. But, like children (who seem to match many of your comments), they do have a joyful energy that can be very entertaining...from a distance.

I would agree that dogs are very entertaining, but even at distance they can be very decieving... Children on the other hand are most entertaining up close and personal. I would suggest that you should try making cookies with three little children running around, saying "Can I dump that? or Can I crack it?(Eggs, of course)" This is most entertaining. I would deal with children all day, (which I do already)than dogs. Except Sam, I can handle him now... I think.

Ann, the solution to your mental dilemma is simple: if you want to stop watching dogs, buy a zebra.

Zebras don't bark, they don't slobber, I'm pretty sure they secretly eat dogs as a regular part of their diet, and when attacked by a pack of hyenas, you can give them your Zebra and escape.

Yay ~ Ann blogged!

Problem with zebras: they've never been domesticated because they tend to bite humans and not let go...seriously. Sorry caits :(

Hey, ask Jeff W. about my dog incident in the Leo area :)

Jim: I still have to ask Jeff w. about the dog bite... I guess I could just ask you. :)

Cait: Zebras can be trick, but they are larger than dogs... making them scarier to me. I once had a cat that killed a dog... I was so proud. :)
